What did you do to your MINI today?

I’ve got those, too, but with the red & blue Union Jacks. They were a Christmas present to me. I really like the added “stick” my feet have, now; I can get my feet positioned once at the start of a drive and with one-pedal, I don’t have to reposition for nearly my entire commute.

Added my new front grills, for both the radiator and brake ducts. KillAllChrome and SMPS2012 on Etsy. Be sure to get the Cooper radiator grill, not the Cooper S version, as the SE has a rectangular opening.

Have any of you considered the possibility of adding hub motors to the rear wheels? I'm dreaming of a light(er)weight Mini All4. I test drove the new Countryman SE on an autocross course, and it felt like a fat understeering pig (they wouldn't divulge the weight to me at the time).

Well that's disappointing.

FWIW, I brought the issue to the local dealership's attention at the 2 year service, and they at least acknowledged its existence. This is where/when I picked up the recommendation of "exercising" the adjustable steering. My intent is to go back and push harder in the spring, before the 4 y warranty period is over.
As planned, I took the car in on Friday and was quickly provided a loaner. Word today is that they are replacing the steering rack and that I should have my SE back by the end of the week.
