What did you do to your MINI today?

Finally collected the last piece of my charging puzzle. Found 8ft of 6/3 wire on marketplace for sale for 40$ got to the guys house and he saw the mini. Loved it and said “Cool car, merry Xmas” an handed me the wire for free!

electrician will come over the holidays and hook it all up. Once I get an outdoor box he can hook the wire I ran 2 years ago outside then do the breaker connection later

Make sure the electrician sees your cool car, too.

And yeah, I drove my wife to work in her Subaru today so she could drink at the office Christmas party. It almost feels like American snow today, just a sloppy mess right around the freezing point and no traction at all. The number of trucks I saw sideways in off-ramps and on-ramps today was ridiculous.

The funny part is they could have actually made it some what functional
I believe originally the scoop was functional (first gen MINI), but it was a complicated bit of machinery prone to trouble. And there's no need for extra air intake on the electric motor of the SE. I've personally come to dislike it almost as much as @insightman, now that I've discovered it's an extra bit to repair when damaged (a deer hit my S Clubman). Based on my snow catching I have to believe it hurts the aerodynamics of the SE.

The air intake fed fresh air to the supercharger. In cold rainy weather, after the engine was turned off, the intake issued steam for a short time. Most entertaining. I don't recall it ever keeping snow for very long.

Did anyone take their SE out in the snow today? or was this snow enough to have everyone back to using their ICE vehicles?

New user, been reading for a long time! Took out Rudy (that’s what the kids named the SE) out from the West Island to downtown MTL… the snow couldn’t stop me! I have the 1st Melting Silver III in town :)

Exactly. Oh, and I don’t want to be bringing all sorts of slush into my newly cleaned out garage. The floor slab is so buckled that the melt runs off in all directions other than towards the drain.

As is tradition! My house was built in 2006 and whoever finished the slab had their arms tied
