I just checked my snow tires, and two of them have really good depth, one is pretty worn, and the last one is very worn plus unsafely bald on the outer edge. Looks like I only need two new snow tires this season, so that's pretty good news. I've never driven on two styles at the same time, but it should be good right? My current snow tires are Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3s, the ones available now are R5s. So a newer version of what I have. The comparison review says the R3s are better on snow, but the R5s are better on ice. So maybe I'd get a nice balance of handling.
Unfortunately the Hakkapeliitta R5 EV tire is 18" or bigger, so no go on the SE.
