I love my NokainsNokains are also still worth something selling used.

Speed hurts a lot. Seems like anything over 60 for me drops the range quite a bit.I struggle when I read that people get over 100 miles of range even when driving on the highway. Maybe it’s my speed (70-75mph) or my tires (Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus) but something is up.
I’ve gotten 110ish doing back roads but I often wonder if there is something wrong with my car as I read others get that on the highway and 125-150 miles in non-highway driving.
Do the tires have that much of an impact on range? I always drive in Green mode with high regen braking.

I'm seeing about a 15% hit all things being equal, or as close to equal as I can get, going from the OE 16 inch summer to an AS 16 inch setup. This was after much digging into tests and reviews for this specific AS set, all praising good rolling resistance..... yet still a far cry from the OE design.I struggle when I read that people get over 100 miles of range even when driving on the highway. Did you get more range at those speeds before you switched from the OEM tires to the Continentals? For the SE, MINI carefully selected summer performance tires that delivered the best range.I struggle when I read that people get over 100 miles of range even when driving on the highway. Likely both of those. Apparently above 70 mph the car's drag really is noticeable, and if your tires don't have a low rolling resistance that will definitely impact range.Maybe it’s my speed (70-75mph) or my tires (Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus) but something is up.
I love my Nokains
I've driven past stuck 4wds in a fwd car many times.
They always look utterly perplexed.
Many were utterly perplexed after the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally, when the little FWD Mini Cooper blew people's minds by beating all the big boys:

Thanks for the great photo! My SE in winter rally mode!
I've had Bridgestone blizzark, Dunlop wintersport, Continental "forgot the name" and General arctic altimax, none of them came close to the Nokian hakkapaeliita R5 in my application on the east coast, not to mention its low rolling resistance which showed literally no loss of range.
... that, and aquaplaning, apparently. The biggest problem with Hakkapeliitta tires is spelling them.
