Hello everyone! We bought our PHEV in early May 2018 and have seen our share of these charging woes since. The issue occurs at ChargePoint stations with dual ports (with dedicated 40A or split loads). Have already experienced an incident where my wife could not start the vehicle after multiple plug-in/plug-out attempts due to repeated charging interruptions. Had to to wait about 3 hours for the vehicle to "auto-recover" to start the car. Check engine light stayed on, but it eventually cleared the following day. Fortunately, that information is stored in the system and the dealer can pull the event data. It's been confirmed that the car needs a software patch to handle these charging woes. When will that happen? I do not know, but I have a case number assigned to a Honda Case Manager to investigate the issue. I've also filed a Consumer Affair and an NHTSA complaint to help warn current and potential consumers of this issue. Charging at home with a dedicated 30A charger is not issue and still happy with the car. Just disappointed that we can't take advantage of free vehicle charging (up to 3 hours) as an employee benefit, which was one of the primary drivers of buying this car as the electric range is perfect for our one-way daily commute.
