It doesn't work that way. DCFC is charged by the minute. No one sitting there paying 20 cent a minute to get only 22kW. Most people will charge up to 57% and leave.So its 50 Minutes in a Kona, or 81 minutes in a Bolt, lets say those are the same chargers, which I do not think they are. A difference of 31 minutes, and 6 charges or a 1K mile trip, so 3 hours slower in Bolt... Thats really not that bad, especially when you take off the time for eating, sleeping, etc..
The Kona EV will deliver 48kW up to 74%.
