I'm inclined to agree with this. Would be nervous about changing limits on anything really. That's why I never tuned my previous cars, didn't want to risk voiding the warranty or causing damage.Just a word of caution:
A change like this (to the performance limits of a physical item on the car) could be used as a reason to deny warranty if the heated seats break or if there is some sort of heat damage to the seats (but not warranty to something unrelated)
The engineers may have chosen a lower temp limit because of efficiency but it also could have been because of the wire gauge used, other loads on that circuit, seat material heat resistant, temp limits of this specific seat heater, or other.
Options? Where is that exactly? I have not heard of this.I thought you could do that without Bimmercode if you hit options while in reverse. Or I could have dreamt it.

The options button by the back button under the jog dial.
Did you see @drdunkyn's post where he selected "unknown" as the choice for the pedestrian warning sound?Maybe I'm not seeing the same options as everyone else, but how do you permanently turn off the forward acoustic passenger warning sound? From what I've read you need to login to the app as a mini first to turn it off and then as an i3 to set the permanent option, but when I login as a mini I don't see an "off" option for the forward acoustic passenger warning sound. What am I missing?

Some SE owners equate the pedestrian warning sound with tinnitus.Do you not interact with pedestrians ever? I don’t understand the desire to disable this.
