Clarity Sightings

Haven’t seen any around Lexington KY. I got the first one sold here but there are several dealers around us. My dealer has one red one on the lot.
 
The Honda dealer down the street had two of them right out front a few weeks ago but now they are gone and there is just an empty spot where they used to be. I don't know what that means but there are still three models listed on their website. I'm betting they gave up and will use them as loaner cars or something.
 
Definitely none in Duluth, Minnesota. I own the only one sold by the local dealership and they traded for it from a dealership in the Twin Cities.
 
I did not spot a Clarity on my drive down and back from Long Island to NJ (near Atlantic City), but my son spotted a giant Clarity billboard ad off the Jersey Turnpike near Goethals Bridge exit.
 
I have 2 sighting.
Sighting 1: Saw one in my neighborhood. It is every easy to spot at night with the 2 "L" shaped LED.
Sighting 2: An eletronic ad on the big "TV" billboard at the New Jersey entrance of Lincoln tunnel.
 
My wife and daughter say they spotted a Clarity on a trip we just took to LA. Being California it might have been the BEV or the fuel cell version. We have yet to see another home in Durham, NC (but I believe there is a Chapel Hill Clarity on this forum, so maybe someday). We have noticed that we are noticing more Plug-in in general since we've been driving the Clarity.

I’m the “Chapel Hill Clarity” and the one I saw was charging in the garage at DPAC. The Durham dealer that I bought mine from shows SIX in stock today. I don’t think this car is exactly “flying off the shelves”.

What color was the one you saw at DPAC?
 
Saw 5 white ones in the last couple of weeks, possibly some duplicates. Wondered why I only saw white, then saw a black one and then a grey one within 15 minutes. This is in SoCal. Maybe they will be more common within a year.
 
I saw my first one last night!! Got so excited :D
It was a dark one, not enough light to make it out but those front lights are very unique.
Close to 400 & Finch street in Toronto.
 
I have seen 3 so far in central New Jersey area in the past 4 weeks. One grey Clarity in Somerset, one in Newark and one white one in Metuchen. My kids were super excited to see other Claritys.

Are folks in the US still seeing cars unsold in dealerships? In Canada (or at least Ontario where we get a very aggressive $13k provincial rebate) the combination of low supply and new demand means there’s none around to test drive.

When I bought mine a few weeks back, here in the NY area, there were plenty at the dealers' lot. Some of them had been sitting at the lot for awhile since the batt had drain down to "zero" I went to like 4 different dealership and each had a few. No waiting here. In fact, I picked up my car on the same date ( just had to wait like 2 hours for prep work and stuff)
 
I've been keeping an eye on the local inventory around my part of the world (central Georgia) and it doesn't look like either of the local Honda dealers are moving the Clarity - at most one has been sold out of 6 or 7 that have come in so far. Since I'm not planning to buy for a few months - I'm traveling a bunch this summer so there's no reason to start paying for a new car that will just be sitting in my garage or a parking lot, unless my Altima looks like it's giving up the ghost before then - there's a decent chance the red touring I've had my eye on since January will still be there in August.

Volts don't seem to be doing any better around here; I'm pretty sure the same 2017 Premier (no ACC, or else I'd have at least looked at it by now) has been sitting on the same lot for 6 months.
 
I'm pretty due I saw the first other Clarity in our area this week. Silver in color it passed going in the opposite direction do I didn't have a chance to get a real good look at it.
