Budget Battery Capacity Readout

i just used CarScanner Android app after a few months. The Output now says I need to have the pro version to read various output such as the battery capacity. Luckily, the screen switched back and forth from the data and the message saying that the pro versio is need. However, I cannto see a "pro" version in the Google Play Store or even the Carscanner website. Does anyone know what is going on?

Also, it apears that there is no data on the Battery Capacity spreadsheet from 8/8/2025 to 1/9/2025. I thought I added some data late in 2025 but I cannot see it. Is there a problem with the spreadsheet?

There were a few entries from 8/8/2025 that were at the very bottom of the data. I resorted the data so those entries are on the top. I did not see an entry for you in late 2025. I am using the Car Scanner app on Android and it says Car Scanner Pro at the top of the screen. I don't find any "pro" versions available anywhere either.

I looked again and I saw an upgrade to the pro version option in the CarScanner app start page. I never saw this before. The cost was $5.49 for a lifetime pro upgrade so I paid it. Since I now have the pro version, the upgrade option is no longer visible.

Thanks for the resort of the battery capacity data. My battery capacity reset to over 54Ah last summer when my 12v battery got completely discharged (mulitiple dash error lights, etc.). After 6 months, the current reading is still above 54Ah at 54.28 Ah. I will add this to the data even though the capacity number is probably incorrect. The capacity was 49.86 on 11/25/2024.

Wow what's the mileage? And how often do you use your ICE?

Update #3: Received a call last week from my dealership that the new battery arrived from Japan. They initially stated this would be a day or two job which turned into 3 days "to be safe" when I dropped it off last Tuesday evening. They've had it about a week now and agreed to get me a rental so can't really complain too much.

Perhaps your dealership didn't realize ahead of time they had to obtain Honda's Integrated Power Unit (IPU) Handling Kit (including lift) for changing Clarity PHEV batteries. I wonder how many dealerships purchased these expensive kits and how many of those have had the opportunity to use them?

I just found an Integrated Power Unit (IPU) Handling Kit on eBay for the bargain price of $1,999.99 OBO (+ $200 shipping). Possibly, your dealership ordered this very eBay unit but failed to notice the caveat at the top: "The seller is away until May 15, 2026. If you buy this item, expect a delay in shipping."
