Great in-depth comparisons.

There will always be some sort of "win some and lose some" in any product. Hence you pick one that's the "best" for your application.

As I stated, "none of them came close to the Nokian hakkapaeliita R5 in my application on the east coast," based on my application, the R5 reigns supreme.

I’ve given up trying to find an efficient 195 55R 16 tire in the US. For those running Firestone Indy 500’s, what do they do to your range vs stock Ventus Primes?

I'm getting around 0.5-1 mi less per kWh. But it's been over winter in cooler conditions, so maybe not a fair comparison, yet.
 
I probably didn’t word that well. Yes the stock ones are efficient. Last weekend I got done with an 88mi drive and had 47% battery left. I’m happy with that, I just didn’t like them for other reasons. I’d like to try something else. I’ve checked around multiple places and the choices in that size are very limited.
 
Ouch. 1mi/kWh less seems way more than I would have expected.
This is also only about 40 mi/day, so I don't really notice it bc I charge every night.

I got the indys in late October, so haven't had a chance to measure them in warm weather, yet.

Go to European tire sites and search with the filter "low rolling resistance"
 
I just ordered a set of the stock Goodyears after 3 years on the Hankooks, it’ll be interesting to see how they compare.
 
I find them rather loud on concrete highways, but acceptably quiet on asphalt roads. Very pleasantly surprised with their wet weather performance, and they stick really well in the dry. Turn-in is really good, and they provide plenty of feedback considering the relative deadness of the steering. I’m basing this on the 17 inch size of course.

Have you driven on the stock Hankooks much? I'd describe them pretty much the same way.
 
I had to fold down the right rear seat to put something in the hatch a few days ago. I didnt flip it back up. I was wondering why I was hearing tire noise from the right rear. Duh! Flip seat up, problem solved.

On my commute home on city streets:
4.8 mi/kwh
18 mi total
65 degrees F outside
Sport mode

I used to get somewhere in the 5+ mi/kwh range w/ the stock Hankooks.
