No! They just my battery passed the test and there was nothing to be done. I called corporate a couple of weeks ago and they escalated me to a callback from a case manager but I haven't heard from anyone yet. I read a post somewhere on this forum that said they test the battery cells one by one and if nothing is amiss, then they cancel the recall.
UPDATE: I got through to a case manager today. First response was that if I wasn't having any problems with my battery then no need to replace it. When I explained that it functioned fine but just might blow up, the advice was that I go to the dealer and ask for a battery replacement and that I would be eligible to get one--but that they are on back order and it might take a long time. Also confirmed that it's OK to charge to 100%. March 2019 Kona SEL
