What to believe now?

EV sales have not fallen, cooled, slowed or slumped. Stop lying in headlines.

Oh wow the whole time I thought it indeed slowed down, what haha. So basically it says Electric vehicle sales continued to grow over the past year, although the increase was lower than before. In the US, EU, and China, the growth was around 10%, while other countries saw an increase exceeding 40%. But I've read many other articles saying otherwise. What to believe now?

EV sales are still growing — that part is true. But the rate of growth has slowed compared to previous years. So headlines saying “EV growth slows” and others saying “EV sales are increasing” can both be correct at the same time.
A ~10% increase in major markets like the US, EU, and China is still solid growth, just not the explosive jumps we saw earlier. Meanwhile, smaller or developing markets can show 40%+ growth simply because they’re starting from a lower base.
So what to believe? Both — just read past the headline. The real story is: EVs are still expanding, but the market is maturing and growth is normalizing.
