The mirrors can be folded by pressing the appropriate switch on the driver's door (before you get out) or by long-pressing the lock button on the key fob (which will also roll up windows and close the sunroof).
I thought I had read somewhere that the automatic folding on MINIs doesn't happen in North America, but it does in other countries.I understand this is how you can do it, but on my last MINI and all the other cars I've had with folding wing mirrors they folded when the car was turned off.
Lots of options are left coded out for NA. Always has been the case.I thought I had read somewhere that the automatic folding on MINIs doesn't happen in North America, but it does in other countries.
Might have to do with crash protectionI have noticed the rear headrests on US and European MINI's are different, the US ones fold down, the European ones push down.

Ok - going to sound super clueless here but what is this “belt line” reference all about?

A strut bar would make it impossible to pop off the inverter/motor cover to show off what powers this gloriously ICE-less MINI. No one wants to give up that pleasure at their local car shows. On another note, is anyone running a strut bar? Seems like the ICE versions should fit the SE with no issue.
Possibly I’ll replace it in the near future. He’s been doing lots of EVSE installs lately but suggested just paying a bit more for a hardwired version. Less connections in the system.Yeah, tbh if you’re not frequently unreplugging the 14-50P the risk is minimal, especially at 30ish Amps max continuous draw. Are you going to replace the Leviton with the Hubbell eventually? I know you prefer over-building as do I.
I did the same with all the heavy lifting . And that’s only for the full rebate. They’ll credit you up to 350$ for an EVSE an on existing circuit. I have sources on thatYeah mine said the same. But he had fun doing mine, I’d done most of the heavy lifting for him by running the wire and installing the box; all he had to do were the connections at the receptacle and panel. Roulez Vert needs an electrician’s invoice for the $600 rebate when you get the new EVSE though.
