Not specifically the car, but
for it: I got around to finishing the part of the wall where the EVSE is mounted. I am a pretty terrible carpenter, and tend to be lousy at mudding, but this is in my cluttered garage so I’m able to just keep practicing.

A '60s house with shoddy 2x4 construction and poorly-installed, paper-faced fibreglass insulation above the visible board, one inch of expanded styrofoam on the foundation wall below. A while ago I tore out the drywall above the board and added 2x2s to the studs, and replaced the crappy batts with fresh 5½” Rockwool, VBL, then new drywall and the (dreaded) mud. Today I
finally finished painting, installed the receptacles, and reinstalled the EVSE. Looks cleaner, and the added 15 and 20 Amp receptacles on that wall (most not pictured) are a bonus.
