What did you do to your MINI today?

A bit of a broken record, but after a low overnight in the single digits (°F), up into the 30s again for the first time since before my snowy, sloppy country drive on Friday. So, a good day to hose down the cars. Foamed, but didn’t actually contact wash. Good enough for now.5BFEF8D2-277A-41C3-A19B-37DE34A1844E.webp 36279BF4-727C-4953-9070-9D8B861A8EE1.webp DC158F34-49E5-4D28-B1BC-98516E9114E2.webp 051331AC-6ED5-4C9D-A15C-128C5DFEA299.webp E54FACB2-A37D-45EA-94F8-E83E6F8FCAD1.webp B9E746E3-68EF-47F7-8E2F-D8A7A0863564.webp A8928566-F93F-469A-9D1F-1ECE22992381.webp 7483D065-1A49-4B54-B90F-846F5BA012C6.webp

Changed a bad downstream o2 sensor on the ICE Mini. 62500km… also removed the JB4 and Dinan axleback. Fed up of the drone and never liked the JB4

I mean it will go eventually but it’s paid for and don’t really want another payment right now. I was on the Model 3 configurator last night and just can’t do it. It’s just so generic, like the car on a road sign.

Burlap sac? Or 3k for the all white interior that gets dirty in 3seconds
OK, I exercised my fingers a bit more and found this explanation. For Tesla, "interior" encompasses the fog lights, sound system, and the 30-day vs. 1-year length of the included "Premium Connectivity" subscription (so you can watch Netflix w/o a wi-fi connection). This page I found from 2020 says the white interior that gets dirty in 3 seconds costs $1K (USD).

OK, So What Are the Actual Differences Between the Partial Premium Interior and the Premium Interior (Sometimes Called the “Full Premium Interior”)?
OK, so here’s specifically what’s missing in the Partial Premium Interior:
  • No fog lights (instead you get plastic insert that looks like a fog light)
  • No foot well lights (these are disabled in the Model 3’s software)
  • No rear speakers
  • No subwoofer
  • No amps
  • Only 30 day trial of Premium Connectivity (vs. 1 year with the Premium Interior)
  • No rear heated seats (but you can pay $300 via the Tesla app to enable them)

Burlap sac? Or 3k for the all white interior that gets dirty in 3seconds

might depends on the use case, I have the all white interior and 18 months and 18k mikes in it’s as white as when I got it (I almost exclusively west blue jeans too) and I only wipe the seats every few months as I’m lazy…

Same experience last Friday, except maybe even a little thicker by the end of a 40 mile leg. And here I had been turning my rear fogs on when I was concerned that folks a couple of hundred yards back might not see my DRL tail lights through the falling snow!

Anybody think the GP3 spoiler could be aimed downwards like on a Pontiac Aztek or AMC Pacer to keep the boot clean? :D
