I thought that I had posted about this and was going to update my info. We wanted to look and possibly buy a Limited AWD, (since our Tesla 3 has been repeatedly pushed back on delivery) and had talked with a salesman in Edmond OK, (Edmond Hyundai). I gave him a VERY specific description of the car that we would be interested in. Limited, Dual-Motor AWD, in one of three colors...this was after he kept trying to tell me that there was very little difference between the SEL and the Limited, (BS). He emailed the VERY next day saying that he had what I wanted, would I like to put a deposit on it so it would still be here when we made the 3 hour drive from Dallas to see it. I did and we went up today. I should mention that when I asked the price he said it was $58K which surprised me since I hadn't seen one higher than $57K. We drove up today and when we got there we were in for several surprises especially after he kept telling me that the buyer experience is what they strive for. First, the car hadn't even been cleaned up, then when we drove it we realized that it was in fact, an SEL, NOT the Limited that I had been very adamant about. The MSRP was $51K and change, but by the time they added $2K in crap - only one of which I would want was the window tint at an over-priced $600, and then the small $5K additional dealer markup that took it to $58K. I had asked about this before we made the trip and he had been pretty elusive saying that he didn't deal with pricing but the sales manager would discuss that with us, again total BS. So it was my fault for not being more thorough before driving up, but I was pissed. The only good thing about the day was that while on the way up, the Tesla Model 3 that had been pushed back on delivery from December to May had magically been moved up to March. Yay! I will say that we really do like the Ioniq5 and IF it had been the car we were told it was, would've been a tough decision.
