Does anyone have a solution to keeping the driver=side floor mat in place? The Velcro isn't doing the job, and I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution short of just using spray adhesive to permanently adhere it.

Photos?

I have a 2019 and never seen a floor mat problem. Did have one with my 2010 Prius about 14 years ago.

I think it's more of a "wife" problem pushing on it as she exits...it doesn't happen to me, but it's her car so it's a problem.

I've heard the model 3 floor mats are a known issue, especially that top tab that isn't well secured.
double sided carpet tape is the likely best solution to keep it stuck without ruining the carpet.

Tried that and it worked for about two months. I just wish they had used the twist locks like every other manufacturer seems to use. The velcro wasn't a bad idea but it wasn't robust enough to do the job...especially in my wife's car.

if you're willing to 'drill' into the oem carpet, you can add a button. they sell them on amazon for a few bucks.

Drilling the hole in the mat may be the hardest part. good luck trying to get it to not spin on the bit.

I didn't know that that the button was available...that seems to be the best solution, thanks for that. I've tried to drill through carpet before and you're correct, it's not as simple as it sounds.

I purchased the same locking connectors on Amazon that other manufacturers use for about six bucks and a 1” punch for seven bucks. Easy installation and looks like it was done at the factory. Thanks brianc35!

Nice. Post some pics!
I installed one clip at each of the back corners of the mat and one at the very top of the "dead pedal" section of the mat, I may come back and put one at the bottom of that section, but for now it's working well. The package had four "carpet fixing clips": Amazon.com: Qurbuns 4 PCS Car Carpet Fixing Clips, Double Layer Twist Lock Interior Floor Mat Fasteners, Plastic Non-Slip Floor Mat Buckle Set, Universal Cars Accessories for Keep Car Mats From Sliding (Black) : Automotive The rectangular block with the spike slips into the carpet while the two round pieces clamp together through the 1" hole punched through the mat. I bought the 1" punch knowing that there would be no way to make a clean hole, and it was STILL a lot of effort to punch through. The punch: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004T7WH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 I spent $24 to get this done, but to end the frustration of the wandering mat is worth it. It took about thirty minutes to do the installation, quite simple, and it looks factory...the way that this should've been down at the outset.
