It's much easier for European drivers to use the supercharger network as the Teslas use CCS type 2 and not their proprietary port.

I recall many years ago there's a fine print in Tesla along the lines of waiving all future legal claims against Tesla in exchange for supercharger access (along with cost sharing for other automakers).
If the US gets around to passing a bill that pumps money into the nation's EV charging infrastructure, you can expect Tesla to immediately open up their charging stations to other makes to get a piece of that big government pie.

I expect it will make Tesla owners very unhappy to find themselves waiting in line behind MINI Cooper SEs plugged into Tesla Superchargers. We'll need some kind of locking sleeve that goes around the Tesla/CCS adapter so angry Tesla owners can't unplug our cars at the adapter connection. We'll have to add 6 cameras so we can record the Tesla owners slashing our tires.
