A new EVSE is available, and it looks like a beauty. :)
Available now on Amazon it comes only with the 5/15 and 14/50 adaptor. Up to 9.6 kW adjustable manually or automatically. I priced it c/w ALL the adaptors $1366 CDN, not cheap, but worth it for quality and versatility.
I have a trip planned (next year) and will require charging from multiple sources (welding shops (6/50 adaptor), laundry facilities possible (14/30 adaptor), small industrial sites, camping locations etc.
Not a bad price for what seems a quality product. ( I have a 50' 10/3 and 8/3 SOW extensions, just have to put ends on them, and a couple of adaptors). Should make charging in remote locations easy and reliable.
I emailed the company and got more details, including the availability of the other adaptors, and they replied the next day.
I have emailed back with certification confirmation of a little "c" beside the UL seal, as that is a requirement here in Canada, as well as warranty duration clarification (that should hopefully be confirmed soon)

  • As the NEMA 5-15 and 14-50 are the most common outlets those adapters are already included in the standard set. The other adapters will be available through Amazon or directly through us in Q4 of 2022. Price for one piece will be $79.00 for the NEMA 5-20 and 6-20, $119.00 for the TT30 and $129.00 for the NEMA 14-30 and 6-50
  • You are correct, the J+ BOOSTER 2 will automatically detect the attached adapter and select the correct amps automatically.
  • The J+ BOOSTER 2 will automatically select 80% of the available amperage. With a TT30, you will be charging with 120V, 24 amps = 2,880 Watts as you said. If a breaker in a panel is trigger happy, you can manually further reduce the amperage with the select button on the charger. The J+ BOOSTER 2 will remember that setting until you change the adapter, it then will default to the base setting.

Confirmed the unit is ETL c certified and comes c/w 24 month warranty. The only adaptor I can see missing is NEMA 6-30, which I will make a pigtail. (male 6-30 to 14-30);)

Looks like a great (if pricy) versatile travel evse!

I look forward to more compact units with amp adjustability like this one.

I similarly have a 10-3 cord ($88 at Walmart.ca for 75 feet) ready for chopping down to an extension. Going 14-50 / 14-30 (same plug with no neutral, because the evse doesn't use it) for the extension, then adapters (and combiner) for 5-15/20, a 6-30 / 6-50, a TT-30 ev adapter, figure flexible 24 amp 120 or 240 max is sufficient, so no need for an 8-3 cable solution.

While visiting somewhere with a 14-30 dryer outlet, my extender without the neutral pin in a 14/30-or-14/50 plug
worked great. As long as ground is present, it's good.

You can actually file off the bent part of the "L" on the neutral pin configuration and achieve the same interchangeability (if one happens to have that requirement. Of course I have never done this:D;)
 
Make sure you padlock it to something. I usually run a loop of cord around the electrical conduit, a handy post, or even around a spoke in my aftermarket wheels and padlock the cord to itself when I use my Hyundai L1 charger in a public place.

Now if only someone could make an adapter for the Tesla supercharger. If only...
 
I bought a used factory demo off of ebay $400. Came with a full factory warranty as it is the manufacture that is listing them on ebay. Had some minor scuff marks but works great. It is built in Switzerland and is UL listed.

What a great deal, good find. I assume utilizing the max 9.6 kW (40A) charge rate this unit is capable of?
Probably easier on the OB Charger included in your F150 Lightning ( ie: not to operate @ full 11.5 kW)
Have you tried any of the additional adapters?
 
There are more demo units still listed on e-bay. I saw one today listed by the manufacture at $349. (with tax mine was just under $400. Seller is the manufacture with a 100% rating.

I only charged at 40 amps if I am taking the Lightning out of town and need a full charge. At 40 amps it only takes 8 hours to go from 20-80%. Most of the time I keep the truck at 85%. I usually plug in after short trips. Usually I charge at 12 amps 240 volts to bring it back to 85%. I have the Lightning set to charge with solar during the day.

The seller has not specified a shipping method to Canada. Contact the seller and request shipping to your location.:(
 
I would recommend contacting the seller through the link on the eBay. They might be willing to ship it to you. They seemed to be pro active about helping. Or if you know some one across the border from you ship it to them and drive down and pick it up.
 
EE: Or ship to a depot in Washington near the border. I currently use Ship Happens in Sumas, but if you google you will probably find one closer to you. But probably not worth it if you aren't planning a trip to USA for some other reason, considering the price of the ferry.
 
The J+ Booster 2 came in this afternoon. I am using the 120V adaptor at the moment . It preselected 12 amps and is now charging. Very well made but the cable is stiff. Faster charging than the stock Mazda 120v charger that came with vehicle. Mazda app showed 2 hours time for same percentage of charge instead of previous 3.5 hours.

Waiting for Nema 14-50 Y splitter and Nema 14-50 extension cord to arrive from EVSEadapters.com.

Update: started charging at 6.43pm, completed 7.55pm. Really impressed as it took total 1.12 hours to go from 72% to 80%. Better than I expected.

If I'm seeing the LEDs correctly, it looks like the J+ Booster 2 charges any amperage from 6-40, and just has major (inconsistent) interval marks? So, for example, it will do 10 A or 15 A, or even 35 A?
 
Those leds were flashing up and down to indicate charging, so the actual marks at 4 A is the selections available.
