I've Googled and I think matted designer sketch means the print is in a see through envelope with a built in surround that looks like those cardboard ones in frames basically it protects the printThanks to COVID-19, I had to wait a year for my electric MINI Cooper SE. While I was waiting, MINI sent out a letter of apology with a matted designer sketch of the car. The dealer gave me a pair of MINI Cooper socks. (Don't ask what a matted designer is--I don't know.)
So here's the translation of the video description (courtesy of Hyundai Norway) -Well Norway has got their P45's on 15th May there's a video on YouTube showing them arrive
I think EnerG was making some humor referring to Hyundai's previous dilemma, 2019 and 2020 Kona EV battery pack fire issues.House Insurance???

SNL had better watch their backsI think EnerG was making some humor....
When I wrote "matted designer print" I expected some smartypants to ask me what a "matted designer" was. Here's what MINI sent me halfway through my long wait.I've Googled and I think matted designer sketch means the print is in a see through envelope with a built in surround that looks like those cardboard ones in frames basically it protects the print![]()
Just had the following update today:-Unfortunately, due to supply constraints on some components, the manufacture of the Project 45 vehicles is delayed.
Production of right hand drive IONIQ 5 Project 45 vehicles is scheduled to be complete during July and allowing for shipment and inland transport we anticipate that deliveries can be completed from late August through September.
We sincerely apologise for the delay and any inconvenience this may cause. My team will remain available to you during this period and they will update you as soon as possible with a definitive delivery schedule....
Regards - Ashley Andrew - Managing Director
Just had the following update today:-
Dear XXXXXX
We are delighted to inform you that your IONIQ 5 has entered the production process and is currently being built at our Ulsan plant in South Korea.
Once your IONIQ 5 has completed the production process it will be assigned to a ship for transportation to the UK. As soon as your car is at sea, we will update you again.
If you have any questions at all regarding the production or delivery of your car then you can contact us here at the VIP Concierge team. For any other query, such as payment, finance or adding accessories to your IONIQ 5, then your Hyundai dealer will be able to advise you.
Kind regards
IONIQ 5 VIP team
So, assuming all the RHD UK cars (estimated total 175), were to be built in the next couple of days & put on a ship within another 5 days = Jun 17th
4 weeks travel time to UK = 15th July
2 weeks processing & shipping to dealers = Possible 1st August delivery date - (1 month ahead of the original delayed schedule)
I thought the journey to the UK was 5-6 weeks (hoping not to get that pilot in the Suez).Just had the following update today:-

Those journey times were guesstimates so you may be right - as for getting the updates, as Michael Knight first pointed out, the UK P45 VIP team (Laura), only seem to work on ThursdaysI thought the journey to the UK was 5-6 weeks (hoping not to get that pilot in the Suez).
So i was expecting/hoping for a mid August delivery but I’d be much happier if your dates are correct.
Just got to decide best way to pay for it now.
It's like Deja Vu, wonder if the coolant pump is the same manufacturer of the 2018 Kona EV models. Should be an easy fix, but as you said- not a good start. Considering the importance of the single pump (over worked?), one might have thought a second one as a back up would be an inexpensive remedy to avoid this type of situation.https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-...-Hyundai-Ionic-5-coolant-leaks/2291624046030/
Not a good start, if true.
Not a good start for the photo caption writer, either: "...had engine coolant leaks."https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-...-Hyundai-Ionic-5-coolant-leaks/2291624046030/
