How to Track your MINI SE Build and Shipping

Think it ships from Zeebrugge. NYK Line and Wallenius Wilhelmsen are possible shipping options to Port Hueneme, CA (if that is your arrival port). In both cases the boats stop at Zeebrugge before Southampton.

Thanks. So it does go to Southampton and then to the states (it is port Hueneme for me). Just curious and project arrival dates here. Although it sat in factory for almost two weeks awaiting for carrier… finally at port.

According to the schedules you're looking at mid August (earliest Aug 9) to Port Hueneme if you get on the next boats. You went from "awaiting carrier assignment" to "at the port" directly?

It was like 24 hours change… I was checking daily and for nearly two weeks was at factory awaiting carrier assignment…and this Tuesday I got the notification from my MA and also checked online myself to showing at port. So now it’s at port at Netherlands I assume to get on a vessel

Maybe they forgot to change status to "dispatched from factory", since the factory is a little further from the port? As others have mentioned, once it gets on a boat it'll take a few days before the status changes to "in transit". Then you can call ASK-MINI to get the name of the boat, and use the links I posted earlier to find the actual schedule.

A couple of my Canadian friends on the (mostly UK) F56 forum who ordered their SEs right around the same time I did (but at different dealerships) have received emails from their dealerships telling them to expect delivery in the next few days. How come their dealerships have this information, while mine just repeats what they see on the screen, which is “Status 193 — in transit”? I just sent my MA a text asking exactly that. I have no expectation that he will even bother to answer.

I think I missed dispatched from factory? It’s now at port. Wherever this port is. I don’t believe it’s Southampton lol. Hopefully you are right I get it maybe in aug… I still have the SE who I drive everyday and loving it. Countryman needs to get here before the winter [emoji23] thanks for your help

Well, the closest scheduled boat is Triton Leader, at Zeebrugge 7/11. So if you managed to get on that, your status would probably change around 7/12-7/14. The next one is Phoenix Leader (7/14), then Oberon (7/19), then Figaro (7/24), then Fidelio (7/28), and finally Cygnus Leader (7/30). Dates are approximate as there may be delays, so you probably have a good shot of being on a boat in July. Once it's on one of the above boats, it's about a month to get to California.

By the way, for others on the thread (Mini SE, Port Hueneme), all these boats arrive at Southampton port a few days after leaving Zeebrugge. And Capricornus Leader is leaving Southampton 7/10.

The Donington left Baltimore yesterday, and today the tracking page shows my SE as "at the port." I wonder how long they're sitting at the port of Baltimore these days...

mine sat at the Oxnard port for 16 days (went in transit yesterday). My other SE went from port to ready to pick up in 6 days. Others on the same boat as mine were delivered after about a week from when the boat landed.

I asked the salesman to not let prep touch the paint because I want to put my own sealant on it. No license plate holder, dont cut the window sticker off the window, just maybe vacuum the car and call me to pick it up.

I then asked if he ever peeled the wrapping off a new car. He said no, so I invited him to join me in peeling the wrapper off when I pick it up.

That’s awesome!! Very unique experience!

Don’t forget to demand that they forgo applying any dealership decals on the boot.

I'm quite happy to have the dealer license plate frame. If someone is interested in my Mini, I'm very happy to escort them to my dealer. They've been very good to me, and I'm quite willing to help them stay in business. In fact, I'm going there on Saturday to help them with a Suds and Greet.
