This app still goes through the HondaLink server. The big question is whether or not Honda will still have the "lost" data vailable from the server even though the most recent official HondaLink app, with its recent "modernization", does not currently show data such as the SOC percentage and the odometer reading.

I have been using this app for a few days, free trial, and it works well. My fuel level in the app does not change though but everything else works.

I had not paid close attention to the difference between the first notification and the second notification. The first said we would lose Fuel Level, the second said we would lose Battery and Fuel Level.

I've not updated the app, so I am still getting SOC updates. Android app version 5.0.51. There is an update waiting in the app store and it is usually forced after a few weeks.

I have a spreadsheet where I had tracked 99.5% of my charging sessions: start, end times and percentages so after the update maybe only start and end times.
Do you track Kwh charged too?

On Tuesday, by email, Thierry Bucco, the Re(link) author, told me that there would be "No Android version coming from me." I hope he changed his mind since then. There is a similar Android app, logue-app, in beta but that app only works for the newer Honda Prologue. It does not work for my Clarity PHEV. I emailed the author but as yet have received no response about the app working for the Clarity.

Currently, one can use an older version of the Android HondaLink app to retain the old functionality. One just needs to make sure that HondaLink does not get updated to the new version (or that Honda does not stop providing the data on the HondaLink server).

I guess Honda was tired of people who enjoyed the free Hondalink service complaining when it had problems.

I just received the following email message from Honda. It doesn't mention what Hondalink is still good for. Will it still start the Climate Control?

LOL: "Vehicle Mileage and Fuel Level may be accessible via your vehicle’s instrument panel."

I asked Honda to close my account and delete any information they have about me and my car on Honda link. 2 weeks and still they have no idea how to do it. I have been talking to the developers. As of yet they can’t disconnect from the car.
