GRU oil change

Hi all,
I had the GRU oil changed a week or so back by my local mechanic, using his four-post hoist (cost A$30!, using my oil). The local(?) (120km away) H dealer took a sample at the last service and I didn't like the look of it. I collected the old oil in a clean Alfoil tray and poured it into a clean glass jar. Please see photos. With full sun shinning on the jar it looks a metallic grey colour. With strong sun behind it, looks quite opaque.
I purchased an oil analysis kit last week and today, after giving the jar a good shake, took a sample. I'll post that off tomorrow and should have the results here by the end of this week. Will let you know the results.

For the record here are the current graphs of iron and aluminium content that I've been updating for many years. You also hold the record for the least-expensive non-DIY oil change. The most expensive was NZ$450.

Wow, that's great info, thank you. Have you come to any conclusions on OK Vs Unacceptable levels? And do any of your any samples relate to vehicles that subsequently had a GRU replacement?
When Brian (mechanic) said 30 bucks, I couldn't believe it. He and his off-sider (apprentice?) spent over an hour on it. Partly due to taking a punt and removing the rear plastic cover first... I think it may have been their first opportunity to have a close look under a full BEV (not that many here yet in rural SE Qld. - but improving since fuel prices took off thanks to you-know-who!)
By the way, I provided the Penrite 70W75 GL4 oil and two magnetic M18 plugs. Posting oil sample off this morning.
