So, perhaps a useful data point, maybe not.
This evening I decided to top off the charge for tomorrow's commute. I plugged the mini into my EVSE and all is well (car is unlocked). As I walked away I decided to open the hood (or is that boot) and check fluids (windshield washer
). Closed the hood and walked back into the house. An hour later I checked status and found it was not charging. I unplugged and plugged back in a couple times with no dice. I locked the door via the door button and when I reconnected the charge cable, it started charging.
Perhaps opening the hood while charging created a state where the car is not going to accept a charge and locking the car kicks it out of that state?
