Thank you insightman. We chose black roof, black mirror caps and black Tentacle Spoke 17" wheels. When the dealer built it and sent us a copy, we noticed it didn't specify the 3L2 Piano Black Exterior Trim we requested (it had ZET). We let them know the same day (it was still in status 47)
 
Oops. Hit send by accident. Continuing...the dealer never corrected it and it went into status 150 on 5/18 with ZET (oh well). We had a projected build date of 6/8 and I think it started a day early. It just flew through production and is at the port as of 6/9.

I was in and out of the dealership in under an hour, most of which was spent going over the car. Ended up getting the car a few days under 3 months from our initial deposit.

Congratulations!!! You have the yellow mirror!! that is great! Aww my car has been in the UK port since 5/18…. Hopefully will be able to get on a vessel soon

Thank you! I wasn’t so sure about the enigmatic black + yellow wing mirrors and powerspoke wheels that my wife was adamant in having but it turned out really nice in person. Here’s to hoping yours ends up on a boat soon. I had a lot more fun tracking the vessel than anticipated. I now expect detailed shipping information for anything I order from abroad

Actually the whole tracking process from the build to shipping was really fun and added in a built in personal connection to the car before it even arrived. Now my children just need to come up with a name.

I actually was on the edge to order the yellow mirror caps as the color make me happy by just looking at it! Here we have an opposite situation which hubby was the one that said it will be too "stand out" as he will be driving the car on days that I don't need it to save on gas money. I like the power spoke too (as I grew up with that style of electric outlet in Hong Kong) but I just wasn't sure if it will look good without the yellow mirror caps. I love how's yours look! It is certainly a happy looking car!

By the way, thank you for your blessings ...my car finally got onto a vessel!!! YAY! I already gave mine a name [emoji23] No one get to pick except me.

I called mini earlier, the lady that I spoke with said the vessel name is not yet available on her end; however, she could tell the departure date of the vessel was 6/9 and estimated arrival to California is 6/30, so I think we are probably on Sagittarius Leader :) I have another friend’s mini also got onto the same vessel!

Yep! Those dates align perfectly for the Sagittarius Leader! Hopefully that means I will have my new SE around the second week of July. :)

Do MAs also get vessel info on their system? No Genius phone line in Canada. Then again, my MA has been less than informative since my order.

I think here in the US, MA do get to know the vessel information base on previous comments. I hope you will get that information you need.

The phone line told me two weeks ago that my car was completed. Then I contacted my MA with the hope he would provide confirmation and maybe details of boat, etc., and he is not giving me anything. Contacted phone line again to see if they could confirm my BRG was on a ship… now they can’t confirm if it’s done or not and they suggest I call my MA… spinning around. MA told me they would contact me once it’s at the dealership.

Thanks for all that use the chart, it help me estimate when I might get my dream car.

My SE made it to the UK port. Looks like the next K Line ships from Southampton to Brunswick are the Brooklands on 6/16 and the Hawaiian Highway on 6/19. WW has the Elektra on 6/18. Hopefully my car can catch a ride on one of them.

Noted. I do know my car is at Southampton, but it’d be nice to know if it makes it aboard Elektra when that sails next weekend (I’d likely find out early the following week, when she’s half way across the Northern Atlantic).
