Ok we ordered ours in November and FINALLY got a production #. It’s still sitting there but at least there is positive news.
The eagle has landed. It got off the transport truck yesterday afternoon and I picked it up at 6pm at Nick Alexander Mini in Downtown LA. So far, only had a chance to drive it home from the dealer, but I'm liking it. It's not a Tesla, but it's still fun!View attachment 15195
What's fun about a Tesla? I chose agility over range and acceleration and never looked back. It will be interesting to see which car leaves your garage more often. It's not a Tesla, but it's still fun!
A lot of things lol. We have a Model Y Performance...Great range...Brutally fast...Great room for my wife, kiddo, myself, running stroller, etc...All while handling rather well for what it is. Having the Tesla is what actually got me interested in getting the Cooper SE for an EV daily commuter while getting to do more spirited solo driving. What's fun about a Tesla? The charging cable locks to the SE only if the vehicle is locked, but it will unlock automatically at 100% charge. Charging in precipitation is fine, as long as your EVSE is weather-tolerant.Does the charger lock to the car? And is it ok to be charged in the rain/snow?
Nice! Have you picked up yours?SEs waiting for pickup at stevens creek!
I hate having to drive my wife's Model 3, after driving my SE.What's fun about a Tesla? I chose agility over range and acceleration and never looked back. It will be interesting to see which car leaves your garage more often.
I charge outside and got one of these Eco Dome charging-port tent things that has magnets to secure it to the steel body. I'm too lazy to put it on unless some really nasty weather is predicted, but it works great.Congrats on the car! Still waiting for mine to leave the port ;(
On a side note, does anyone charge their car outside? I realized I may not have enough storage in my small garage for the car and may need to leave in the driveway to charge. Does the charger lock to the car? And is it ok to be charged in the rain/snow?
And yet you ARE, Sir!(Not trying to rub it in! :-D )
