What the--?? MINI website now has my car as "At the dealership"!! My sales guy isn't super responsive -- no big deal -- but I haven't heard from him in a week. I'm half expecting to walk outside tomorrow morning to find Uncle Larry out on my driveway! Anyone else with updates off the Atlas? I'd love to know that Concord beat Steven's Creek to the punch!! ;)

You’re almost to the finish. Congratulations. Mine’s been on a truck since Thursday. Who would have guessed that last few days would take the longest. :p

The eagle has landed. It got off the transport truck yesterday afternoon and I picked it up at 6pm at Nick Alexander Mini in Downtown LA. So far, only had a chance to drive it home from the dealer, but I'm liking it. It's not a Tesla, but it's still fun!View attachment 15195

beautiful, congratulations. Mine is stuck at the second step… assigned for production..

Has anyone who ordered in December heard anything from their dealers yet? If it’s due in May as promised, they should start production soon.

Congrats on the car! Still waiting for mine to leave the port ;(

On a side note, does anyone charge their car outside? I realized I may not have enough storage in my small garage for the car and may need to leave in the driveway to charge. Does the charger lock to the car? And is it ok to be charged in the rain/snow?

What's fun about a Tesla? I chose agility over range and acceleration and never looked back. It will be interesting to see which car leaves your garage more often.
A lot of things lol. We have a Model Y Performance...Great range...Brutally fast...Great room for my wife, kiddo, myself, running stroller, etc...All while handling rather well for what it is. Having the Tesla is what actually got me interested in getting the Cooper SE for an EV daily commuter while getting to do more spirited solo driving.

I charge outside and got one of these Eco Dome charging-port tent things that has magnets to secure it to the steel body. I'm too lazy to put it on unless some really nasty weather is predicted, but it works great.

Car is ready in Concord, finishing up the detailing, get a full charge (I'm guessing they don't have Level 3 chargers there), and plan to pick up tomorrow after work! WOO HOO! Do my dealer's credit, he was remarkably close in forecasting delivery, saying when I placed the order in November "you should have it by Valentine's Day"! :D

Pics after I get done driving it an extra 50 miles to get back home!
