Being a data nerd, I did an analysis of used SE's pricing and mileage last November:

2020. n=3 Average price $19238 average miles 22913 Std Dev 21557 - two few n's
2021 n=11 avg $19202 avg miles 34156 sd 19449
2022 n=19 avg $19383 avg miles 24619 sd 14818
2023 n=36 avg $21345 avg miles 18866 sd 11102
2024 n=6 avg $22109 avg miles 9444 sd 3188, data incomplete! lots more '24s to add

so unlike other EVs the SE is holding up well. There are some outliers in the data, highest mileage was 72000 on a 2022, One looked suspiciously cheap with the caveat of lots of fees about $5k worth, NJ dealer, no surprise there. Data from CarGurus.

Meanwhile, what is the thread originator doing?

They really are the most fun to drive. Although the ICE S model claims to be equal in power, it is just not the same. Instant acceleration and one peddle driving change the entire experience. The SE is pure fun to drive.

I've owned the little beast 5 1/2 years. For the first 3, I charged on level 1 only. Where I live, the supply is 240V, so overnight would completely fill the battery from almost empty. I have a level 2 7kW charger now for our other EVs, and this charges the beast in about 4-5 hours.

With our warm climate, all year round economy is about 8km/kWh (12..5 kWh /100km). This is about 5mi / kWh. I have no measurable battery degradation, but my economy has gone down with the track tyres ( more like 4mi /. kWh. If you can get a 240V socket, that is all you need. 240V at 10A puts about 2kW in per hour (400W is lost to things like battery heating / cooling etc). A 2023 should be indistinguishable from a new one. Go for it.
