UPDATE:I didnt know this and could not find anything in the handbook but if you start, i.e. the ignition, while fast charging or maybe other charging you will get an error that requires a visit to the dealer to fix.
UPDATE:
A few days ago I visited the same charging station doing what I was supposed to do, stay away from the car, let the charger work and drive off. Sadly I got the same resulted. If not a total brick, not far from it and a required trip to the dealer to reset, to many hours of waiting at the dealer. I dont know if this particular station is the culprit or if they all behave badly but I am not going back.
The one thing i noticed is, you cannot run the car and cool it down by keeping it plugged in, the VOLT allows you to do that, i was surprised that the Outlander does not!
I am able to have the climate control functioning while plug in using the app.
There is a warning to NOT have people or pets inside the car...
