I wonder how much of the battery degregation is time based vs usage based. Not going to say the battery degregation your experiencing is really bad, but it's not good either. If my clarity wasn't constantly getting worse I might have my eye on my own battery. But at about 35 miles, I could hardly care less.

I think your data is the most comprehensive set that we have seen after a 'false' reset.
Your vehicle has nearly returned back to 'normal' after about 7K km. following the capacity reset.

I live in Canada and we have 8 years and 160000km high voltage battery warranty. I think Honda is going to win this one according to the current degradation trajectory.

Whoa wait a second. Your question prompted me to double check their website site. Apparently for high voltage batteries they only need to degrade below 75% to trigger the warranty claim.

Curious to see how that plays out. I'm honestly really curious how far the battery can degrade before it starts actually having issues beyond a reduced range.

I have a feeling that Honda is going to squeak by most of these (at least in the US where the threshold is 36.6).
You could try pulling the fuel pump fuse, running the car out of EV range, and just let the car run, eventually it will not move, but the dc/dc converter should still be running, in theory if you just leave the car on (turn on seat heaters for good measure), there is a decent chance there is no safeguard preventing the dc-dc converter from over discharging the high voltage battery, and cause severe damage to the high voltage battery, bringing it below the threshold.
That’s an interesting warranty. You are definitely below 75% and still under 160,000km. I’d assumed, since you posed your odometer reading in miles that you were in the US.
The BMS will continue to function as designed in the scenario that you’ve described.
