I wonder if there will be a puzzle in my car lololoolol Has anyone even seen one of these PR blast puzzles they spoke of?
I really don't like the fact that Morning Cecilie is still at anchor outside Southampton and Arc Integrity went straight to anchor there also. There's a chance our cars are on Patriot because I've seen people mention it takes a couple of days for this stage to update to In Transit, but just, ugh.
Arc Integrity's arrival date now shows tomorrow and Morning Cecilie has been pushed to Saturday. Arrivals to Baltimore for those 2 have been pushed 1-2 days also.
So sorry you guys have not been updated yet - I was shocked when mine was........Here's hoping you are already on a boat....
I'm not even bothering to keep track at this point. Southampton is slammed with vehicle carriers currently and Mini has no control over this stage really.
My dealership is Hendrick MINI in Charlotte, NC. I'm assuming the ship would be headed to Charleston, SC.
Double damn.. departure for Morning Cecilie changed from August 8 to 9 now. Keeps getting pushed back. The number of cargo vessels in the Southampton vicinity is crazy. It's a freaking traffic jam. Morning Cecilie is still off the Isle of Wight - now waiting with 4 other ships!
Stuck at Port 2 weeks now. Destination Northern CA. Anyone else? I called MINI 2 days ago and I still was not assigned a carrier yet.
Just to temper expectations — My vehicle sat at Southampton for 3 weeks. I tracked 7 ships come and go before it was finally loaded on Brooklands. It then went from Southampton to Germany and Belgium before finally making the trek to Baltimore. My vehicle arrived to Southampton port on 6/24 and departed 7/16 — it departed Belgium on 7/27, and is finally schedule to arrive to the Port of Baltimore tomorrow evening. 21 days of ocean time.
Current situation: @wally3 is the golden child of us 5 ro-ro ships are in port at Southampton 6 ro-ros are at anchor outside Southampton at least ro-ro is within a day of the area in the English Channel right now Just wow.
Morning Cecilie finally in port at Southampton. Hopefully our cars going to New York are being loaded on her and she will leave tomorrow.
Not gonna lie - I am happy to be on a ship. Weirdly I got an email form my MA with a target date for my car to be at port which does not align with the Patriot - although he did not tell me which ship it is on and then suggested I could get the car about 10 days later - so looking at some time in September according to him. I have a strong suspicion he padded the dates by a week or so to manage my expectations....
KLine seems to be the carrier of choice for many of the BALPOA bound Minis. Fingers crossed for those waiting at the Port. Also, if on Orion Highway, plan to add about 4-6 days of transit times- there was port congestion at both Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge.
