I think I'm on there.. my understanding is that your tracking won't show In Transit for several days even if your car is on a ship. Mine BETTER be on there.. it's been at the port since 7/16. So don't loose hope yet!
@DJCoopster Orion Highway isn’t supposed to depart Bremerhaven until 8/17, so I guess I’m not too worried about it.
Sometimes having too much info is more a curse than blessing. Most Canadians find out the order was placed, maybe that it’s scheduled for production or transit, and then get a call to schedule collection at the dealer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup, same here in NZ; 1st comms, order has been placed and it is going to take 5 months to arrive at the dealer, after a month came the next comms, it is in production already and we don’t even receive the VIN, the next comms was “hey your SE is here, can you pick it up please.”
In Transit! Verified with 1-866-ASK-MINI that car is on the vessel Morning Cecilie. The tracker ended up lagging 4 days. (8/11 actual departure from port - tracker changed to In Transit 8/15).
Maybe mine is on the same ship as yours. I haven't called and found out more info yet. I saw from the spreadsheet that your port destination is NYC (and someone helped me fill out mine - Baltimore...) BTW, your Resolute looks great! My dealer didn't even look into it when I inquired about the special edition...
I should never have lost faith! https://giphy.com/gifs/chicago-taste-of-pleasures-t3FEfpCbLcD4Y (not sure how to imbed the GIF in my post)
@Xin Dai, what dealer in CT are you using? My car is coming into New Country. Are you sure you’re going to Baltimore and not NYC?
I just called; on Morning Cecilie - probably arriving in NYC 8/18, then heading to Darien Mini ! (I was confused too when I saw "Baltimore" from the spreadsheet, probably an editing mistake from someone. I'll change it.)
