Boy is it ever going to hurt if it gets out of the VPC quickly and arrives in the Montreal rail yards before the end of June, but won’t be delivered until after the 30th (and I get $1000 less in government incentives)…
Same situation with me. reading all the insight and data I can get from this blog to figure out if my car is now on a boat. MA and Sale manager are not helping. Received my VIN early May and in production since mid-May…. Long production time. I might have to follow the situation tracked in the thread about being stuck in QC. Thanks for sharing your experience Amanda!
Well mine just went into external body production... how do you guys know which boat it goes on? Or do you just watch the fleet and watch the one that departs Southampton when your status changes to in transit? (I'm excited )
Some are able to get the ship name by calling Ask Mini. Others like me () just assume based on what ship sailed the day prior to status change as there’s usually a delay in the status updating after it’s shipped. It’s very exciting to be part of the production and tracking.
Thanks for the information - I guess I'll have to call when it gets close hope she doesn't just sit there and cook in the summer sun waiting for the boat. We'll see.. thanks!
Darn. Still status 193, since the end of May. Maybe it’s aboard Carmen/Elektra and just not updated in the system yet…
Anyone else on the Brooklands ship? If anyone has access to the vessel tracking, is it still on schedule for a 6/26 arrival to the Baltimore port?
I've been able to track Hawaiian Highway on Shipfix without a paid account, seems to be near real-time. I just looked up Brooklands on there and see this:
Yep, just stumbled on that. If travel from CA to CO is the same as it was in October I should be able to sign the papers the 29th or 30th. My folks got married on the 29th a zillion years ago. Took the Queen Mary (or was it the Elizabeth) to england, and they bought a demo Karman Ghia with a sunroof. Travelled across europe that summer with it. The next year they went to the MG factory and they watched their red MGA roll off the assembly line and toured europe a bit more with my sister on my mom's lap. That was when they were cool, and safety was an afterthought.
That picture is proof I have good friends! My buddy was able to find where my car is on the Heritage Leader with the note he can almost see it. As if I wasn't getting stoked enough without his help. It is probably next to mine. Follow the red arrow. Thanks to my buddy you can also almost see yours too.
"At the port" - it'll be 193 while initially waiting for a ship, and then again after it is offloaded at the destination port.
Whoa! That is the first site I have found that will track ships that are outside the land based receivers! Here is the link for tracking the Sagittarius Leader: https://shipfix.com/ship/sagittarius-leader_IMO-9283887 You can just type in "shipfix 'vessel name'" into Google and it will give you the link for your ship.
Carmen has left the PORT towards Halifax and then NYCPOA .... I hope my BRG is in it; how long before I can notice change in mygarage status to Transit? hours or days? Carmen - https://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9505027
I won’t pay the 99¢/day for tracking until my MA lets me know it’s actually aboard a vessel, but as I said, he’s not proactive. I think I’ll just come up with an excuse to swing by the dealership early next week (it’s a holiday in Quebec tomorrow) and ask about tinting (again) and accessories, then ask again for the latest status. Elektra should dock at CAHAL late Monday or early Tuesday, while Carmen shouldn’t be far behind.
