Heritage leader reached port Hueneme. My mini is now showing “at the port”. Now another phase of waiting starts.

I took a picture of my plate an had a bumper sticker 5x10" made for my Cayman. The real plate is 6x12" so the aspect ration is the same. Hint: put something over the screw holes. The first one was an experiment and it looked good, but wasn't "mounted". I took another picture with the holes covered by the little round screw covers that come with a plate frame. Cost was about $10.

Yup, my changed too! What is the estimated wait to get to the dealer?

Mine was at port for 4 days, then status changed to in transit and quickly to “at the dealer” yesterday morning. HOWEVER, I checked with the MA it’s not at the dealer yet! It’s less than two hours away from VPC to DTLA. Someone at the port must have changed the status too quickly. Seems to me the error tolerance for status updates is a couple days.

I finally got to add to the spreadsheet, its been a while! What boat were you on and did you get your car yet?

Grand Cosmo. Still incorrectly says “at the dealership” but don’t know where the car is at the moment. This is the gap where neither ASKMINI nor MA knows the exact location.

Over the last week, I have been returning my current Mini back to stock form. I just got done this afternoon and went to Carmax to get a price. The price is decent and I have 7 days to turn it over to them. Hopefully the SE will be at the dealer in 7 days (Heritage Leader docked today), if not I will still turn it in. I have a truck so I will drive it in case the SE doesn’t make it in a week.

Have you tried Shift? I got more from Shift than Carmax.

  11. Carmen came and gone and I'm still showing as "AT THE PORT" for my BRG that is sitting there since Jun 8th.

Anyone's mini destined to be coming to Halifax/NYCPOA that have the status changed to TRANSIT and on Carmen vessel?

I'll try it tomorrow, I am good with the Carmax price so anything better would be a plus! Thank you.

If you’re looking for more appraisals here is a handy list:

Valuations are all over the map. I just requested online quotes for a BMW and the highest offers were from driveway, KBB dealers, carstub, truecar and tradein solutions in Socal. YMMV of course.

I looked up the value on KBB and I have 2 dealers I have to visit during the week, within an hour of submitting the online form, a bunch of local dealers emailed me. Thank you for the link and I will check them all out, Carmax is the baseline and the one to beat. Thank you again for the links, this part is actually pretty fun and in today's car market it makes it easy. In doing some math with the Carmax quote, not including taxes and fees, it cost me $188 per month to own my Mini 3-1/2 years. You can't even lease a compatible car for that amount.

FWIW. I would not expect prompt processing when your car docks in Oxnard. Been 1 week since arrival, and estimation from MA is next weekend.
About 2 weeks turn around. I’m in SoCal. Patience. Patience. Patience.

I’m waiting patiently in Canada, so I’m at the mercy of whatever my dealership and MA decide to divulge. My car has been at Southampton since the last week of May. At last check (Thursday afternoon, after both Elektra and Carmen departed — the first Halifax-bound vessels this month), this is what he sent me, saying it’s all the info he has (193 means “at the port”):

Interesting they don’t say which port though, perhaps yours skipped a few steps like mine did, and maybe it’s in Halifax? The other two possibilities are 1: someone pushed the wrong button (like my Postie does!) or 2: they have no idea where it is. I really hope that it’s not the latter but the former

I’m planning for the end of the first week of July either way. Annoying about missing the $8000 by a week, down to $7000 after June 30th, after it had been available for almost seven years.

Were you able to pick up? Curious as to how long it took. Mine arrived yesterday with a batch of others. They do PDI in order, and part of it includes fully charging it.

According to Mini tracking, my Mini is at the dealership. Do any of you other Heritage Leader passengers say the same?
