So am I, that is actually good news to here. I was kind of under the impression that not having any senors at all would produce some kind of error, but apparently that is not the case. Good to know for future. No light at all, If I go into the menu to find the tire pressure screen it just says please drive to show pressure or something of that nature.
I'm actually surprised there is no light on the dash what so ever.
Give it some time. I had the same thing at first. It took a little over a week for me, but now the TPMS warning light comes on all the time. There's also the warning ding every time I start the car too. Sorry to burst your bubble. No light at all, If I go into the menu to find the tire pressure screen it just says please drive to show pressure or something of that nature.

I have never had to buy rims. Am looking at those same Michelin's at Costco here in the US. Can you tell me exactly which rims you purchased? Were you concerned at all about weight compared to the stock rims we got to begin with? I assume your 'mileage' has gone down. What mi/kWh are you averaging with the new tires? I appreciate any help you can giveMichelin X ice 3 tires (215/55/17 and black steel rims without TPMS sensors.

I also plan to get these Michelins and am in the US. Was planning on purchasing them from Costco. What wheels did you end up getting? So glad it worked!! I plan to get those same tires. Do you mind sharing the details of the 16”? I had one test fit yesterday and it didn’t fit on the rear wheel so I thought I needed to go with 17”. I don’t know the specifics of the 16 my guy tried. He did say there are variations of 16s. I read through this forum and saw someone else had a 16” fail so I was going to give up. I’d love any advice! (I’m in the US if it matters and also have ceramic blue!!).
They're certainly no noisier.I just had the Michelin X-Ices put on my Kona today and they seem to be a LOT quieter than the Nexens... but perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me. What have the rest of you with XI3's noticed after swapping them out?

I think I might be the only person to ever buy Hyundai steelies for winter tires. Sigh.
I found this picture on the Hyundai site, they look a lot nicer than the typical generic steel wheels.Nothing special about them. I bought hubcaps first thing. Steel wheels without caps are like a supermodel with a missing front tooth: a terrible shame you have to bear all winter.
They also come with OEM Hyundai branded centre caps. Better than plain steel rims, I suppose.I found this picture on the Hyundai site, they look a lot nicer than the typical generic steel wheels.
