That's a wrap!

Damn, I was thinking of doing the same color but you beat me to it. Looks great.
I was thinking of getting all the flat black areas wrapped on my red Kona cost will be $1000.00 I have always disliked that type of trim. It fades to grey as the car ages what do people think about that..

Agreed. I am not a fan of plastic cladding either. Love to see some pics if you get this done. Are you thinking of matching the red color or some accent color?

Does anyone know if you can wrap wheel parts? I hate those little dimples and thought about wrapping just that area (same black/grey color on the wheels). It would leave just the plain spokes. Thanks.

Our member @MTN Ranger made a video about wrapping his Model 3 wheels. I'll leave it here, and maybe (hopefully) he'll drop by and give an update.

Are you still going for the protective front end wrap too or just the cosmetic roof wrap?

Yes!
I had to push it by a month - I owed a few too many dollars on Taxes last month lol. I'm booked for next Friday if all goes well. Essentially identical as the photos up top. Black roof, pillars and mirrors. Clear entire front end :)

I’ve heard rumors that you need to remove wraps every couple of years to avoid causing damage to the underlying paint. Anyone verify hearing similar? Thx!

I've never heard that about the Paint Protection Film (PPF), as that is the reason you get it on, to protect the paint.
As far as the cosmetic wrap goes, I don't know too much about it.

Just picked my car up from the detailer! Had full front PPF applied including headlights. Also had black wrap applied to the pillars, roof and mirrors. Looks slick!

Sweet! Say, so you guys know if the Ultimate trim comes w/ privacy glass (tints) on rear windows? Definitely something I will do if it's not already stock.... Thx!

Did they do the whole dimpled front? [emoji106]

No, unfortunately not.
They said it would be far too difficult to cut out each individual dimple. So they cut around the dimpled front and put Ceramic coating in the dimples. It’s still better than nothing.

Most importantly for me was the headlights and bumper. After a year or two, any car I’ve had was completely sandblasted by salt and sand/debris from the road.
