they promised that by June 30th I'd receive the email allowing me to receive my free NACS adapter that's been going on since early spring. Now I have to wonder if it's going to happen at all. They just kept kicking this can down the road on me

I called and bugged their customer service again. NOW finally she said without dealing with the email they are putting me on the list to ship one out to me. Delivery time she said would be in the next 12 weeks USPS. Hopefully before. But NO email needed. So there you have it.

Which market are we talking about? Where do you live?
Hyundai has different semi autonomous corporations around the world and the Kona is equipped differently in each market.
For instance our Canadian Kona came equipped with a heat pump but 5 miles south in Washington state it does not. It’s not even offered as an option. In the European market a trailer hitch is an oem optional extra, but in North America if you install a trailer hitch that will void your warranty.

Here in Hyundai Canada region, all we heard was that a nacs adapter was under consideration… and that maybe it was going to be free.

Maybe is the key word, they still have time to distribute before the second half is over:
"North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapters will be available to Hyundai EV customers during the second half of 2025 in combination with the revamped Hyundai App. We haven’t finalized the details yet, but as always, we aim to provide Canadian customers with a convenient process and valuable product offering and we will share details directly with Canadian owners as soon as possible."
My dealer just got one in...so I bought it.
I did a follow up report showing it does work as intended. If Hyundai does come through, I will take the second one for free and keep it as a spare or sell it to someone who may not qualify... at a discount of course.
