I, too, would never consider adding roof rails to an F56. I'd be surprised if anyone orders an F56 with roof rails because they like the look--I assume they just want their thoroughbred F56 to do a little more to earn its keep in the family.I disagree. I really, really don't like the look of the roof rails on an SE and I definitely wouldn't buy one with it.
I don't mind the look either way, but I mainly got the rails to transport lumber.I, too, would never consider adding roof rails to an F56. Also I’d like to make the backup camera timeout much shorter, or even to turn off as soon as I shift into Drive. It stays on way too long, and usually by the time I start rolling down my street, I’d like to be adjusting things in CarPlay but I still have to wait a couple of hundred yards apparently so I can know that my baffles are clear.
I actually wish I could bring up the rear camera at any time, not just when in reverse. It's such nice quality it's a shame it can't be used as part of a dash cam setup.Yes, I changed mine to the shortest distance traveled and lowest speed to turn off the camera.
Hehehehehe GMTA (I said something almost similar to my wife but …neighbor’s yappy yorkie… so I refrained from sharing here)Maybe it's for backing over someone so you can make sure they're dead as you roll away?
True. It’s a surprisingly good camera and lens.I actually wish I could bring up the rear camera at any time, not just when in reverse. It's such nice quality it's a shame it can't be used as part of a dash cam setup.

It could be worse, we could be talking politics. And I certainly wouldn't buy one without roof rails.
I spent three days trying to configure my mini online. I knew there were options that I couldn't, for the life of me, find. I gave up and asked the sales guy if he had a list of options. 3 pdfs later, it took me 20 minutes to spec my car.Aren’t we glad so many options are possible? I wouldn’t have ordered the rails, but my MA never suggested (and I didn’t know about) them.

The site in Canada is even worse. Depending on where you click, you can still build a 2022; click somewhere else, and you're building a 2023. Poor list of options either way; really a subset of what's in the US site.I spent three days trying to configure my mini online. I knew there were options that I couldn't, for the life of me, find. At least you still get the $12,000 instant rebate for critical minerals, battery components, and assembly requirements. The site in Canada is even worse.
