True enough. It's 12K off the price of a 52K car for the premier+, but only after 2 levels of tax are added onto the price, and the provincial tax taxes the federal tax as well. So 12K is deducted after almost 8K (14.975%) is added to the 52K. 12K off this 60K car. I'm hoping SameGuy corrects my math and proves me wrong ;)

According to iZEV data, the 2021-2023 MINI SE is QC (41.42%), ON (16.57%), and BC (35.79%).

NS has about 1.26% of the MINI SEs (1/8 population of QC) and 15% HST...but only a $3,000 provincial rebate. AB (no PST/QST) has half the population of QC and only has 2.58%.
