Why doesn't Rivian have a real forum on the site?

Noticed you can't really post to Rivian Chant without logging into something else and it looks all hyper curated. That's not a real forum that seems to be sponsor controlled.

Rivian:
Rivian commercial van offering for Amazon and others- brilliant like that new British company doing pure BEV vans for UPS.

But the Rivian pick ups simply doesn't hold up anymore and have become underwhelming. Its a mid size truck with a high end full size diesel truck price but with small truck 1990s Ford Ranger olden days styling and a steering wheel from a Pacer or some other defunct American Motors Corporation type product. And that won't cut it with the bigger in the pants crowd. It will be more Chevy lug nut vs Model 3. The "tank turn" is interesting and the Cyber Truck may or may not be able to do something half way like it but the Cyber Truck is so much bigger anyway so it won't be as maneuverable to begin with. Also, fording may not be as good on the Rivian as on the Cybertruck. This bit with Rivian trying to say Tesla is trying to defame them is pathetic. If Rivian took the IP responding in the press to Tesla's suit by dittohead-ing a panicked fossil fuel backed short seller ink clouding with fud as he goes down is beyond unbecoming.

We had thought RivianChat would be pretty big since we had the most chatter about the company and products for a while after it first launched. So, we spun it off. The main difference between this one and that, besides layout and colors, is that it has a news page (which I need to update). If you click on "forums," you'll see all the different threads.

Forums for the Chinese up an comers (?) including Xpeng Nio, BYD, Byton(if it survives) and Greely Polstar? After all have a forum for Nikolo which given that natural gas can't be reliable or effectively sequestered and can't even provided competitive or market level prices with massive subsidies anymore and will take 2x as much NG for equivalent hydrogen and much higher cost- considering that the Nikolo as part of the Dieselgate-Enron 2 scam is on here how about the others. Some are very against Xpeng but I respect them for outright saying their goal is to copy Tesla and for producing possibly the first real Model 3 competitor and for not coming off as arrogant. I have more of an issue with BYD for taking the solar panels off its buses and being invested in by Berkshire and for is involvement in trying to perpetuate he hydrogen scam to rescue natural gas with yet another in a million bailouts- its simply a non viable fools errand. Greeley- have to overlook the Polestar 1 but points for the Polestar 2 another viable EV on a level no EU company has come remotely close to matching- but its backed with the google surveillance capitalism spyware suit that will try to force feed ads to people trapped in cars plus phone home on every little thing they do- to understand how bad that just see Shoshanna Zuboff's "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism" As for copying Tesla that was the intent of Diess and Hackett and both experienced set backs from people who don't know what time it is.

The Chinese automakers can now be found in Other EVs. It would be nice to give them a sub-forum now, but we're trying to keep the front page as uncluttered as possible (obviously a losing battle).
When they become available for sale in Europe or if people start posting in their existing threads, they can get a dedicated sub-forum.
