What did you do to your MINI today?

Is that a DC Fast-charger at the MINI dealer? If so, I’m very impressed. The dealers I’ve been to all have Level 2.

Cincinnati Mini has a 24KW CCS charger in their service area. I do think it's a combined BMW/Mini service area, but they pumped mine up to 99% Saturday pretty quickly.

Saturday, but I drove 250 miles for the first time. I'm 2 hours from my Mini dealer but there are 3x CCS chargers 88 miles from my house which makes the drive not impossible. There is a different route, but with 6.6KW chargers and adds a ton of time if I go that route.

From the logs:
15%->86% in 31 minutes at a Hyundai dealer's free CCS - sat in an Ioniq 5, really like it
63%->99% in 41 minutes in the BMW/Mini service area on a 24KW CCS
79%->97% in 12 minutes at the Hyundai dealer again - that surprised me because it didn't taper off hard until 95%
11%->32% in 56 minutes at home
15%->100% in 4h6m at home to get full again finally

Okay, I just washed my Resolute SE this morning and was wondering, what do you use to keep the black plasticky rubbery parts black instead of them turning a whitish-grey color? It didn't matter so much on my previous MINI's but I'd like to keep this one looking as brand-new as possible for as long as possible.

303 Protectant works great! Spray it on, wipe it off. I even use it on my phone screen, tablet screen, and glasses.

Spun off today's autocross course on my last run. I can report that she pirouettes beautifully on wet grass. Mildly damaged my pride. Not too badly as I

You might have already shared this, but what are your regen/DSC/traction control/drive mode settings for autocross?

I run full regen. My codriver at the event is new to EVs and ran low regen. He's also been autocrossing about 10x as long as I have and is very fast...
DSC 'off'. I'm suspicious about that. My codriver thought it cut power on him when he was somewhat sideways. I think it may have done that to me months back when I was very sideways. I have yet to try autocrossing in roller mode. Could be fun.
I usually run in mid mode. Sport has much better steering feedback, but the throttle is just too touchy for fine control.
Tyres 215/45-16 RT660 on light 6.5x16 kosei wheels.
We were running 38f, 36r cold, 42F, 38R, hot and weren't feeling inclined to mess with them. We were spraying after they warmed up.
Rear bar is stock bar stiffened 25% with extra mounting holes.
Front camber -1
Rear camber -1.8
Both are legally maxed out.
Less toe-in both ends than stock. Can't find my notes.

When I spun I was attempting to give it throttle. After the initial step out, it snapped back and I completely lost it the other way. I'd been successfully steering with the throttle my first three runs. I think I was just being a bit too aggressive, trying to catch my codriver...

Car was much looser than I usually run it. I've not run tyre pressures that close before. Possibly related. One cone wrangler told me it looked like it was rotating around the front tyres most runs past him with both of us. It certainly felt like it, whichever seat I was in.

On the way to work this morning, a guy in a Mercedes C230 was driving like an ***, snaked between me and another car only to eventually get stuck at a light. I pulled up behind him there.

Once it turned red, he took off, so my inner child said "challenge accepted". I caught him before the right hand turn and stayed on his bumper until his back end started sliding out from taking the turn too hard.

The Mini wasn't anywhere near its limit.

I did something similar with a Cayman driver.
He was slicing through traffic like and *** and ended up in front of me at some lights.
So when he floored it for the green, so did I.
I was pleasantly surprised to find I was keeping up with him, having to back off when he shifted. Must have been a base model. Rinse and repeat 2 more times. At the 4th set of lights, he gave me the finger. I smiled and waved happily back. Mission accomplished.

Oh, I totally forgot I posted this. We bought an Ioniq 5 from them a week later.

That enclosure is 10x16’when I work in my garage I park SE under but the biggest benefit from enclosure I get 4 years ago when I parked wife’s Subaru during a hailstorm . I safe a damage to a car when my neighbors have to deal with insurance.

I got my first autocross class win on Saturday. Night event! A venue and club I'd never been to before. I could be modest and say my competition has been stiffer, but I did actually get some half decent times. I'd have been 2nd in E street, which had 5 entries.
Short tight course, just the way I like them. I'm getting the hang of my 'new' tail happy car. Pitch it in and get straight on the throttle, I'm not looking forward to trailbraking, though.

Ended the night with two fun runs. Both quicker than my timed runs. The last I did at 11/10s, messy...

I didn't, but I should try it. On my timed runs, the next car's headlights did a great job of hiding one gate cone after the 270 until I was 30' away. I eventually memorized where it was.

Mini calls them 'cornering lights'.

I don't believe my 2021 has this feature and I didn't know any Minis in the US had this. I have headlights, fog lights, and parking lights. It can be in automic mode or manually.
