What did you do to your Clarity today?

They have a carbon-fiber look to them, fairly light and rigid with a velcro-ish bottom material and since they fit the footwells so well they don't really need any extra rigidity & weight to keep them in place. Like another member said, I find the emblem a little much. It's riveted on so if I can't easily remove it without causing cosmetic damage, I'll try toning it down with a permanent marker.

How did the back glass come out? Seems like the limited access to the lower corners would be a tough install. l just installed a rear dash cam, so that is out for me.

The ceramic tint on the rear window is still perfect after a year and a half. The tint shop said it was difficult enough that they would charge more for the next Clarity. Glad I was the first.

My dash cam records from a rear facing lens on the front windshield mounted cam so it picks up the interior and any interactions at the side windows. It has no trouble recording through the rear tint. If your rear cam is glass mounted, the tint can be cut around it. You could also get your tint shop to give you a scrap piece of tint to try between rear cam and window if the cam is mounted away from the glass to see if it will work.
Hope this is helpful since the ceramic IR blocking tint makes a big difference in heat gain on that big greenhouse rear glass. (I did the front windshield too in 70% VLT) The car is noticeably less “volcanic” when parked in the sun now. The rear window looks a lot better tinted too.

I posted a while back about the cheap aftermarket tpms on Ebay for $25. So far so good. I did break the charging port by hanging the usb cable and tugging too hard. This caused me to move it to the small dash area to the left of the steering wheel (where it would charge from solar). It shuts down after the car stops (not sure how it figures that out or how long it stays on before shutoff) and then starts again when you open the door (again not sure how it figures that out either), so the battery drain is essentially none and the solar panel seems more than adequate to keep it's internal battery charged. I did open up the unit to look at the broken port and the battery seems to be reasonably sized and would be little trouble to replace if needed. Anyway, I have decided I like the display stuck to the dash and will probably just leave it there.
 
~1k miles. Scraped hubcap on a curb backing out of parking, not bad though. Wonder could i touch this up or how much damage if I do trade in/sell next year.

Also got the tuxmats for inside, like them. Didn't use the anchor. And the $22 oem insert for the front shelf to be less slippery.

Not sure weathertech or tuxmat to order for trunk.

I did similar making a tight turn around one of those curbed planters in a parking lot. Was upset at first but I now have trouble finding it on the rare occasions that I think about it. But I am more careful now so as to avoid adding more scrapes. Back when it concerned me more I looked up how to repair it DIY, seems to be similar to a body repair, some grinding and sanding then using a body filler to flatten it out, then painting with a matching wheel color. As long as the color is a relatively close match it probably would make it pretty much invisible unless you remembered where it was and were looking right at it. Or instead of doing all that probably just touching it up would improve it enough to be even less noticeable, again as long as the color isn't way off. I'm really glad I didn't damage the plastic insert as that would not be repairable, at least not an invisible repair, although if I ever paint the inserts black it wouldn't matter. I got the "paint it black" idea (for those who get the reference) after seeing pictures of the FCV which has black inserts. Too expensive to order the black inserts though.

I got the same stuff installed. It looked like it would be a pain. The place I went to had a picture of a Clarity on their website and said it wasn’t a problem. Definitely a tight fit but mine came out great and does so much for the car. They mentioned the rear window was tough but not unusual
 
Sadly the only thing I did was put gas in my Clarity for the first time. I do take some comfort in the fact it still had a little over a gallon left and I also think I burned about 3 gallons due to user error and just playing around. Still went two weeks on a regular commute and used 6 gallons vs 25

I sadly put gas in mine today also. Tomorrow is my second week owning it. I went 191 miles, used the A/C all the time and preconditioned the cabin. It looked to be about 2/3rds left in the tank. It took a whopping 2.382 Gallons and was $5.88 cents. My push mower needed gas and the can took 1.725 and cost $4.38.
I am a very happy new owner. :)
 
Saturday I installed the Thinkware Q800 Pro dash cam with rear camera also. It turned out really well. Tucks behind the mirror out of the way.

Never been a fan of chrome on a white car so I invested in $12 of car vinyl wrap and checked if I could teach myself. I knew the multi-edge corner would be the toughest part so I started there. On the third try it was not to bad. Will look at it for the next few weeks and if I still like it will buy more and do the rest, otherwise peel it off.

@ around $4 each, they're cheap enough I ordered three more (1 ea. for front and split 1 for rears) to use as door sill protectors. Also pictured, I got Goodyear floor mats sourced from Walmart, around $25 for set with rear runner.

Vehicles like this having such wide door sills are so scratch prone.Looks like you have that well taken care of.
