Thanks for the link to this well-researched warning. Someone did a lot of work to create this investment scam environment and Steve Lee did a lot of work to diagnose and debunk it. I guess the cash from just a few unwitting investors would pay for the work the scammer did to create this fradulent identity for the real Steve Fambro. Let's hope those who are smart enough to want a high-tech EV like the Aptera are also sophisticated enough to avoid the scam.Steve Lee of "Aptera Owners Club" posted a very important video.
I follow only the official channels and those few independents who have a track-record of practicing actual journalism, not just rehashing the opinions of others in an echo chamber. We haven't seen any more "large scale" scams like the one above in quite a while.Jumping in on this older post because I’m curious if anyone has noticed newer scam attempts popping up lately. I’ve seen a few sketchy messages floating around social media, and I’m not sure if they’re related or just random spam. Has anyone here reported anything recent or found good ways to verify whether a message is legit before responding?
