1. Remove the blinkers
2. Make the tires bigger and fatter to reduce mileage

List of stupid things to do to an EV:

1. Remove the rear wheel skirt to reduce mileage
2. Remove the charging port
3. Put a stupid scoop on the hood of an EV because everybody loves adding unnecessary drag

But you make up for all of that by painting it in bling... /s

I've written 3 letters to Germany, begging the head of MINI to allow me to order an electric MINI without the blocked-off, non-functional, un-aerodynamic hood scoop they added after the pre-production prototype stage. The car will be built on the same Oxford, UK, production line as the base MINI that doesn't have a hood scoop (bonnet scoop?), so granting my request would simply entail adding a checkbox to the car's build sheet. I wrote I'd gladly pay extra for a hood that costs the company less! This is what Honda has forced me to do by not bringing the Honda e to North America.

My Photoshop skills are meager compared to those of photoshop cc, but I modified a photo of Bernd Koerber, head of MINI, next to the hood scoop and included it in my third letter. He'll certainly start seeing things my way, right?
