I’m new to EV driving, just bought a26 ioniq 5 sel. I have a question about using the paddle shift feature, I find it is so useful to adjust speed while in traffic and have been using it frequently to manage traffic speeds much like I used paddle shifting in my Miata.
Is it ok to be frequently paddling to accommodate changing traffic?

I have a 24 Ioniq5. I don't know what you mean by paddle shift. I always use 1 pedal driving and adjust speed with the foot throttle.

The standard Ioniq 5 does not have paddle shifting (with simulated gears), only the 5N has paddle shifting. The paddles on all other versions of the Ioniq 5 control the regen level.

The Ioniq 5 has adaptive cruise control (called "Highway Driving Assist (HDA)"), which will auto-adjust the speed of the car while in traffic. Note that you do not need to be on the highway to use it. I suggest looking it up in the manual if you want the car to manage your speed while in traffic.
