Upgraded chargers

We are starting to see news of some charging providers ripping out old equipment and installing new chargers, sometimes a whole “rip & replace” of an entire location.

I thought it might be good to set up a thread where people can report these upgrades and upgraded sites so that we can all know about them as best we can, because sites and apps such as PlugShare does a less than great job at reporting these upgrades unless you stumble on a report when looking at a particular location.

I know of two places that have been or are in the process of complete change outs of chargers, they are the San Antonio EA sure and the Loveland, CO location. Please let us know if you have seen any full site upgrades.
 
One of my mainstay Electrify sites in FL is going through this, which I discovered the "hard way", and
thought I was effed ... but there happened to be a new 7Charge location right down the road which
saved me. See my check-ins for that site. I also suggested that EA update their text in Plugshare
to note that alternative in this case.

I've noted quite a few EA rebuild projects recently. The new 350 kW units are a little narrower, with
a slanted top and only one CCS hose per. They evidently decided that the connector redundancy
wasn't necessary and was in fact confusing people. EVGo also seems to be not bothering to
fix any of the old 50 kW units that go bum, as they'll probably get upgraded at some point. But
how long do the old ones sit there dead? Months, it seems.

The only EA spot within 80 miles of here has 2 350kw chargers, both of which have been down for months. The 150 is limited to 50kw which is quite annoying, but I do 99% of my charging at home so it doesn’t bother me much, only when I make a road trip and need a quick top-off to make it the 50 miles to home. This EA station needs a re-do bad.
