Mr. Fixit. Based on your last post I have an idea. I set my JuiceBox to a max output current of 32 Amps and got the chartering.
The NEC states that any circuit can only run at 80% of rated capacity on a continuous basis. So a 40 amp breaker can only supply 32 amps continuous.
Since the Juice box tells the onboard charger what it’s max capacity is I wonder if the charger is self limiting.
My next full charge I will set the JuiceBox to 40 amps. I have it on a 50 amp breaker. The Clarity won’t charge above 32 so it should never reach the 80% load.
I’ll report the results but It will be a few days.
