Truck drivers don't use their windows to back up.

I've seen it done when maneuvering in tight spaces. In fact, in my day I've acted as a spotter for at least one semi truck driver.

I am truly baffled at Tesla putting only a single central seat in its Semi concept vehicle.

Single model for global market.

Maybe some other studies/research that showed central diving position was better.

Some back of the envelope using:

• 1.7 kWh/mi on the 500 mi test trip
• $135/kWh
• 7 mi/gal for $5/gallon diesel regular semi

Rough order of magnitude:

• $115,000 battery cost
• $0.20/mi electric cost
• 3.5 times cheaper to operate than an equivalent diesel

Thats was a very interesting video, I continually try to convince rusted on ICE friends and family that EV trucks are possible and I can share this to convince them.
