My 2018 Bolt, 46K, doesn't seem to cool the battery when it's parked, experiencing high ambient temperature unless it's actually plugged in, charging. we have experienced 105+ degrees this summer. Is there a relay or some switch that could be faulty, and replaceable for the home DIYer?

Welcome to the site!

I merged your two threads. We moderate new members/posts to help reduce spam.

I have no Bolt experience, so i can't help much there.

I don't have any direct experience either and defer to other Bolt owners in this forum. A possible resource in case you are unaware, both the News Coulomb https://www.youtube.com/@newscoulomb3705 and Plug & Play EV Youtube channels https://www.youtube.com/@plugandplayEV have a lot of video content on daily driving and road tripping first gen Bolt EV's that you may find useful.
