I think if LFA is not equipped it could be because according to this white paper on automated vehicles: "In Canada, a national policy on automated or connected vehicles has not yet been developed" and LFA is considered LEVEL 2 or partial automation. Level 2 tech can manage both your speed and steering. Whereas LKA is LEVEL 1 - automation with driver assistance. LEVEL 1 uses just steering to keep it within the lines of the road.
So if they are not including it, the reasoning would be more for legal reasons than anything else.

This would be a shame. What an incredible feature. From the videos I’ve watched online, it seems they everyone loves it. It’s like Tesla’s Autopilot but apparently only bugs you to touch the wheel every minute as opposed to just a few seconds in the Tesla. If it has to do with law, then how did Tesla skirt around it?
